GMTM Athletes Of The Week - July 16th , 2021

With over 30 Virtual Events happening live on GMTM right now, athletes from all over the world are leveraging their talent and finding opportunities easier than ever.

From volleyball to bobsledding and every sport in between, athletes young and old are finding new opportunities when they add content to their GMTM profiles.

Coston O'Brien, USA Bobsled and Skeleton Digital Combine: Season 2

Current UMASS Track and Field star is an adrenaline junky. Looking for every and any and every opportunity to push his body to heights. Now, his next athletic journey is trying out for the Olympic Bobsled Team and get his chance of being an olympic athlete. Check out his profile here.

Rion Gordon, FIU Virtual Visit

Class of 2025 Defensive Lineman gets an early start on his college recruitment by competing in the Crafting Lineman Evaluation Page, VTO Sports Showcase, Ed O’Brien Camp Highlight Challenge, and the FIU Virtual Visit. In his most reason football season, the defensive linemen tasked 2 tackles for loss, 1 fumble recovery, and 8 assisted tackles.

Martin Oderinde, USA Team Handball Combine

Martin Oderinde started his Olympic dream 5 years ago, and now he is ready to turn that dream into a reality by competing in the Team USA Handball & Team USA Bobsled & Skeleton this week. He was once a contestant on The Olympic Hopeful season 1 and has been working toward his Olympic dream since. Check out his GMTM profile here.

Rory Alarian -Vercelli, Area Code Baseball Virtual Showcase

This week Rory competed in the Area Code Baseball Virtual. He showed his batting and athleticism by uploading videos of him batting and running a 20-yard shuttle. Watch Rory hit dingers on his GMTM profile.

Aaron Sakwa, Rep 1 Sports Agency

Aaron is a class of 2023 offensive lineman prospect out of Gahanna Lincoln High School. He is taking advantage of the new NIL rules and sending his film to the Rep 1 Sports Agency for a chance to get represented.
