NextGen All America Camp and The VI QB Showcase Florida Primer

NextGen All America’s 2021 camp season will hit the ground running this weekend in Orlando. Both the VI Quarterback Showcase and the NextGen Showcase camps will be held over a two-day span. Athletes from Florida, Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia will be competing to earn a spot to The SHOW. The SHOW 2021 is set to take place at IMG Academy, in Florida, from June 25 to June 27. Here’s a look at some of the top prospect scheduled to compete at NextGen All America’s Showcase in Florida this weekend.

TOP QUARTERBACK PROSPECTS

Chad Mascoe Jr./6-0/220/Pro-Style QB/2022/Florida

Mascoe has double-digit offers that include the likes of Auburn, FAU, Indiana, Florida State and Georgia. The 247Sports Composite has Mascoe rated as a 3-star prospect and rated as the No. 24 overall Pro-Style quarterback prospect in the nation in his class. In 11 games, Mascoe completed 85 out of 143 passes for 1,216 yards, 12 touchdowns, and two interceptions.

Noah Sanders/6-2/210/Pro-Style QB/2022/Virginia

The industry-generated 247Sports Composite 3-star QB has offers from Charlotte, Columbia, and ODU.

Rocco Becht/5-11/170/Pro-Style QB/2022/Florida

Becht is a 247Sports Composite 3-star prospect at his position. He currently has several offers including Bowling Green, Southern Miss, FIU, Iowa State, New Mexico, and Southern Miss. In eight games, Becht completed 101 out of 189 passes for 1,550 yards, 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Tyler Jefferson/6-2/210/Dual QB/2023/Florida

Jefferson currently has offers from UConn, FAU, Florida State, Kentucky, and Maryland.

OTHER QUARTERBACKS ON THE RADAR

Alonza Barnett III/6-0/193/Dual QB/2022/North Carolina

Barnett has an offer from ODU.

Christopher Calhoun II/6-1/180/Dual QB/2022/Florida

Calhoun currently holds an offer from Bowling Green. In ten games, Calhoun completed 85 out of 159 passes for 1,217 yards, 13 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

Davi Belfort/6-0/165/Pro-Style QB/2025/Florida

Belfort has two offers before even enrolling in high school. He currently holds offers from Arizona State and FAU.

OTHER TOP PROSPECTS TO WATCH

Carter Edwards/6-6/268/Offensive Tackle/2022/Mississippi

Edwards, a 247Sports Composite 3-star offensive tackle, will be one of the top offensive linemen at the camp. His offer list includes Mississippi State, UCF, Air Force, and Ole Miss.

Corey Yeoman/6-2/214/Inside Linebacker/2022/New Jersey

Yeoman, a 247Sports Composite 3-star prospect, will be making the trip all the way from New Jersey. He is ranked as the No. 2 overall prospect in his class in New Jersey and has reported offers from Coastal Carolina, Howard, UMass, and Navy.

Demario Tolan/6-3/205/Athlete/2022/Florida

Tolan, who currently is not ranked by 247Sports, comes into this event with over a dozen offers. Boston College, Cincinnati, Florida State, Louisville, Miami, Penn State, UCF, and Pitt are among his offers.

Paolo Gennarell/6-3/275/Offensive Guard/2022/Illinois

Gennarelli picked up his first offer earlier this week from Eastern Illinois.

Terrell Foster/6-1/205/Outside Linebacker/2022/Florida

Foster holds an offer from Boston College.

OTHER PROSPECTS CURRENTLY UNDER THE RADAR

Daveon Palmer/QB/2022/Florida

Palmer had the one of most impressive seasons out of any of the Florida quarterbacks that are attending the event. In ten games, Palmer completed 150 out of 245 passes for 2,277 yards, 20 touchdowns, and ten interceptions.

Jeff Becker/6-0/190/Dual QB/2022/Indiana

Becker holds an offer from Penn.

Luke Rucker/6-2/190/Pro-Style Quarterback/2023/Florida

Rucker holds an offer from FAU. In ten games, Rucker completed 179 out of 309 passes for 2,392 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
