Join the inaugural 2023 Virtual World Flip League (VWFL) - Your Path to US Aerial Summer Nationals and Project Gold Camps! The Virtual World Flip League (VWFL) is a new event brought to you by U.S. Ski & Snowboard and is ready to propel aspiring athletes to new heights!
This year, the VWFL serves as a qualifying event for the highly anticipated US Aerial Summer Nationals on August 26, 2023, as well as an opportunity to try out for the prestigious US Aerial Team Project Gold Camps. We invite all athletes in the U11 through U19 age groups, with a current paid-athlete membership, to submit their videos and showcase their aerial skiing skills.
Event Details
The Virtual World Flip League Summer 2023 is your chance to showcase your talent and compete against the best in the field. We are excited to invite athletes from all backgrounds and skill levels to participate in this thrilling event that promises exhilarating jumps, fierce competition, recognition & rewards.
- Competition Dates: The competition will run from July 1, 2023 - August 6, 2023 (Submission Deadline).
- Contest Eligibility: This contest is open to ANY U11 thru U19 athletes with a current paid-athlete membership. For athletes in each age group and gender, this is your opportunity to shine and demonstrate your aerial skiing prowess.
- Categories and Awards: The VWFL is a friendly competition amongst athletes in their respective age groups, with winners in each age group and gender named at the end of the competition period.
- Finale: The podium athletes from each age group will be invited to attend the US Aerial Summer Nationals on Aug 26, 2023. Additionally, any athletes showing potential will be invited to attend one of the US Aerial Team Project Gold camps in either Lake Placid, NY, or Park City, UT, where you can further refine your skills and learn from seasoned professionals.
