Summit at Standing Indian, 50ish miles south of NOC on the Appalachian Trail

Cheoah Bald is a great reward after a challenging climb.

This was filmed about 12 or so miles south of Fontana Dam along the Appalachian Trail. We hiked from Nantahala Outdoor Center to the Dam’s visitor complex (approximately 30 miles)

~20 foot jump into Fontana Lake across from mile marker 8. Maybe next time I’ll be up for the ~50 foot cliff next to it!
