About Me

Hi! I’m Makenna, and I've been playing rep volleyball for eight years, with five of those seasons as a middle blocker. Currently, I’m a starting middle for REACH Harmony in my 18U season. I’m a hardworking, focused, and coachable athlete.

Since joining REACH Harmony, we’ve enjoyed two successful seasons. In 16U, we won both D1T1 Provincials and Nationals. This past season, we finished 2nd and 3rd in Nationals and Provincials, respectively, also in D1T1. I was honored to receive the 17U National All-Star award for my performance as an impact middle. In the summer of 2023, I was selected for Team Ontario for both Indoor and Beach volleyball.

I absolutely love playing middle and take pride in being a well-rounded, versatile player. Over the past several months, I've been expanding my skill set by training as both an outside hitter and a setter alongside my middle training. I aim to continue my journey as a varsity volleyball player.

Academically, I maintain a 94% average and plan to study psychology, sociology, and music at university, with aspirations of becoming either a criminal lawyer or a teacher.
