About Me
Hi! I’m Kaysha and I’m an Olympian on the USA Bobsled team! My path to the Olympics has been one with many twists and turns.
I grew up a gymnast, but injuries caused me to switch to a new sport. That’s when I became a sprinter for Harriman High School’s track team. I won several state titles and set state records for the 100M dash, 200M dash, and 4x100 relay.
In college, I competed at UNLV. As a freshman and sophomore, I earned Second-Team All-America honors. When my career concluded, my time for the outdoor 4x100M relay was the best in program history. I still had that drive to compete after college, however, and that’s how I found bobsled!
I tried out at the USA Bobsled Rookie Push Camp in 2020 and was contacted by the program to participate in a virtual combine on GMTM, which got me an invite onto the US World Cup team. In 2022, my pilot Kaillie and I were named to the Olympic roster! We went on to finish in first place at the IBSF World Cup at the end of the year. Currently, I’m still trying out new things, as I’m looking to become a bobsled driver after competing as a brakewoman previously!
