Team BC Select 17U & 18U Men’s Virtual Identification
Volleyball BC Team BC Programs work to identify, select and develop athletes with high performance potential and who aspire to represent Canada internationally.
The Team BC Select is the top program for athletes in the Team BC High Performance Pathway. The 2021 program will identify and select two training training groups (17U & 18U) per gender to train in July.
Team BC Select 18U – athletes born in 2003 or later.
Team BC Select 17U – athletes born in 2004 or later.
Note: The extended 16-month age categories do not apply for either of the Team BC Select training groups. Overage athletes born are not eligible to compete in the younger age category.
The Volleyball BC Virtual Identification process is for Eligible Athletes who have not been previously identified by Volleyball BC, and received an selection invitation letter. Athletes taking part in the virtual identification process will be evaluated based on Volleyball BC Selection Criteria, and successful athletes will be invited to participate in the Team BC Final Selection Camp.
