About Me
"I have known and coached Maria for few years. She impressed me at our first practice and has continued to do so repeatedly. I have been coaching volleyball for 25+ years. Maria is in the top 5 of the most talented, dedicated, ambitious, passionate and coachable players that I have ever had the pleasure of coaching. Her court sense and volleyball IQ are second to none making her an especially outstanding defensive player whom I see becoming a remarkable libero long term. Maria has an incredible jump float that is extremely difficult to pass, and she often goes on service runs during matches. Although Maria isn’t a tall player, her athleticism, intelligence, and ability to see the court, give her the skills required to attack well, placing the ball in the opportune places to score.
