About Me

Hi! I'm Ariel Fogarty - "AJ"! This is my highlight video for the Team O selection process. Last year was my 1st year playing volleyball and I fell in love with the sport! Playing for the Orillia Suns who won their first metal ever at Provincials (Bronze). All this did was give me a taste of what I wanted. That was to improve as an athlete and teammate. I found different opportunities to get better and to challenge myself. That led me to the Barrie Elites Tryouts. Over 100 girls tried out and I was 1 of 11 that made the U15 Lightning. Speaks to how far I had come in one short year. I am the starting left side on a 10th ranked team who has won 2 golds, 2 silvers and 1 bronze. I also know that by listening to my coaches, celebrating my success and focusing on my areas of need I can continue to grow individually and as a teammate. I want to be coached by the best. I want to work with a group of teammates who want the same thing! I want to hold myself to Team Ontario standards. Thank you!
