About Me

Hello, my name is Jordyn Olson. I am a very outgoing and positive setter on U15 Canuck Volleyball Club. I am passionate about volleyball and I always give 100% effort. I strive to be the best player I can be on and off the court. I am very encouraging and I love to have fun. Last season I was awarded the Canuck Heart and Hustle award for my attitude and determination on the court. I am appreciative of constructive feedback and I use it as motivation for the next plays and to be the elite version of myself. I am driven to improve my strength and endurance to become a high perfomance athlete. As a setter, I am extremely conscious of how to highlight my hitters skills. I have a strong mindset of putting all my effort into going for the second ball. In the summer, I trained playing beach volleyball, winning several gold medals over the past two beach volleyball seasons. My partner and I are proud of our silver medal at provincials and coming 5th in Canada at beach volleyball nationals.
