If you are an athlete at a young age, it is very common to have the dream of representing your country in the Olympics. Every Olympic season represents the chance for an athlete to become the next hero and bring pride to their country. It is also their chance to earn sponsors and endorsement deals so they are able to compete at this level for many years.
Here at GMTM, the main objective is to provide a space for athletes to gain the exposure they need to be given the chance at their shot to join the Olympic team.
Reshaun Davis - Boxing
Reshaun Davis is an amateur boxer with a winning record of 5-4. Reshaun stands at 5’11” and his last weigh-in on 10/12/2022 was at 168 pounds.
Reshaun surely packs a punch with his power and has three wins by knockout. His amateur is still young as he has fought in golden gloves for two years, and is continuously building his resume. Aside from his power, Reshaun also has great footwork, quick hands, and great movement around the ring.
Zaylee Desmarais - Gymnastics
Zaylee Desmarais is from Kauai, Hawaii, and is hoping to reach the Olympic level for gymnastics.
She is currently a level 7 gymnast at Garden Island Gymnastics, and her favorite skill is the Roundoff 1 ½ twist.
Kennedy Smith - Bobsled
Kennedy Smith has a background of a Division I athlete competing in Track and Field at Texas A&M. Kennedy’s speed is the reason she is hoping to make the bobsled team for team USA.
She recently submitted to the USA Bobsled Combine through GMTM, and believes her speed, work ethic, and social skills will make her an invaluable asset to the team.
Charles Compton - Swimming
Charles Compton is a Junior at Savannah High School in Georgia and competes in swimming. His immediate goal is to swim at the collegiate level.
He recently competed in the 200 Medley Relay where he swam in the 50-breast event, scoring an impressive 30.7. His long-term goal is to use his skills to eventually compete for Team USA in the Olympics.
Grant Summers - Biathlon
Grant Summers is a multi-sport athlete who is hoping to compete in Biathlon at the Olympic level. Even though he has only been shooting archery for a month and a half now, he already possesses skills that some don’t develop over many years of archery.
His skills not only display his excellence with a bow, but also his hard work and dedication to his goals.
Cynthia Appiah - Weightlifting & Bobsled
Cynthia Appiah is the only athlete on this list looking to represent another country - Canada. Cynthia is hoping to represent Canada in bobsled or weightlifting competitions in the Olympics.
She recently submitted a Power Clean to Canada Bobsleigh & Skeleton on GMTM, where she lifted 110.0 kg, and front-squat of 125 kg.
