We take privacy very seriously. Our team is committed to protecting your privacy, information and allowing you the ability to control who sees what. We are continuing to make updates and advancements to our privacy features. As we grow, we continue to put safety first and we will continue to strive to build more customizable options.
As we continue to look ahead, we want to share details with our users about our privacy features so that they can feel safe, comfortable and empowered with our current settings.
How can I adjust my privacy settings?
To adjust privacy settings for your videos or your profile, you can go to Account Settings. Account Settings is found on the dropdown menu located at the top right corner of your screen when you hover your mouse over your profile picture.
Once in Account Settings, you can click the Privacy tab on the left side of your screen. This brings up the area where you can set your preferences on privacy settings for your profile and your videos.
On the Personal tab, you can set your profile to Public, Coaches Only, or Private. On the Film tab, you can select which videos you want to set to Public, Private or visible to Coaches Only.
What is the difference between Public, Private & Coaches Only?
You can set your account and videos to one of the three available privacy options.
- Public means that anyone on the GMTM network can view your profile and video content.
- Private means that your information is only visible to you.
- The Coaches Only setting, allows for your profile and/or videos to be visible to coaches on the GMTM network. If you are submitting your videos to an event, you’ll want to ensure that your videos are set to Coaches Only or Public, to ensure that the staff can review your submissions.
Why is my Private content receiving views?
You may notice views of your videos or profiles by users who are not listed as coaches. Oftentimes that person will be a staff member of GMTM. Our team at GMTM are admins and have the ability to view private profiles and videos. This is so that we can check into issues that may arise as you use our platform.
